Rebecca Gibson (b. 1993, Edinburgh) is a Scottish visual artist living and working in Glasgow. Rebecca has exhibited paintings in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London and completed a number of commissioned works.  Alongside her ongoing painting practice, Rebecca has spent the past three years learning new artistic approaches, using technology and programming to manipulate images in real-time through the use of MIDI controls and external triggers, and has worked in collaboration with musicians to facilitate visual and sonic performances and installations using these systems.
